MEET OUR TEAM

Shaun (Managing Director)
SHAUN GREGORY
MANAGING DIRECTOR

Having graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University in 1982 with a Quantity Surveying Degree, Shaun started his career working for a private QS practice in Manchester gaining a wide range of experience on all manner of Commercial and Industrial projects. In 1986 he qualified as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and shortly after set up Hantall with his father, Paul.

Paul (Construction Director)
PAUL SMITH
CONSTRUCTION DIRECTOR

Paul began his career as a bench joiner, qualified in 1983 and later graduated with an Honours degree in Construction Management in 1997. Paul joined Hantall as a Site Agent in 1999, quickly progressed to Contracts Manager before then being appointed Construction Director in 2007. Paul oversees the operation of our construction projects and is also responsible for site Health and Safety.

SIMON HAINSWORTH
COMMERCIAL MANAGER

A Qualified Quantity Surveyor with over 35 years in the construction industry. Currently heading up the estimating and QS department of Hantall Developments. Proud reputation for being fair but firm with a proactive approach. Respected by Clients, Project Managers, Suppliers, and work colleagues.

Matt (Project Manager)
MATT GREGORY
PROJECT MANAGER

Prior to joining the Hantall team Matt worked for a global infrastructure consultancy firm in the planning and development sphere. Having acquired a keen interest in development Matt joined Hantall Developments as an Assistant Project Manager in 2019, where he is currently undertaking further study to gain his professional qualifications and become chartered through the Chartered Institute of Building.

Tom (Assistant Contracts Manager)
TOM MCBRIDE
ASSISTANT CONTRACTS MANAGER

Tom began his career as a joiner and progressively advanced through site management roles to contracts management. Since joining Hantall in March 2024, he has excelled in managing contracts, overseeing project schedules, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. His leadership and focus on quality and safety make him a key asset to the team.

Tabrez (Assistant Quantity Surveyor)
TABREZ ABDULLAH
ASSISTANT QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Tabrez graduated in Quantity Surveying and began work as a Graduate Quantity Surveyor, honing his skills in Costx, Excel, and BCIS. In October 2023, he joined Hantall to further bolster our estimating department, aiding in winning tenders for a range of projects. Tabrez excels in managing project costs and aims to become a Senior Quantity Surveyor.

Moe (Head of Maintenance)
MOE ALBAYATI
HEAD OF MAINTENANCE

Moe graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering. He spent his early career on-site working as a Site Manager before moving into property maintenance project. Moe joined Hantall to head up the company’s maintenance department, bringing his extensive expertise to the team.

ACCREDITATIONS & PARTNERS

Hantall Developments are accredited members of CHAS, Construction Line, and the National House Building Council. We partner with CITB to provide training to our staff including SMSTS and CSCS. 

We are focused on site safety and work in line with CITB to ensure operatives are competent and qualified where applicable through qualifications such as IPAF, PASMA, CSCS. Many of our projects have earned top scores in the Considerate Constructors Scheme, reflecting our commitment to excellence and responsible construction practices.
